Ellis Island

I never realized that my grandfather came in to America through Ellis Island! DUH! I always thought that they came through Canada. Well, I was WRONG! Here is a photo of the ship that he crossed the Atlantic on in 1906. It was called the "Vaderland". NO NOT DARTH VADER, you goober. It's the Dutch word for homeland.
