. . . coming down the stretch!

Here is my first exacta box win! I had the 5 (Touch Me Not) and the 7 (Stefani C). It was Stefani C all the way down the stretch. . .until the wire, when Touch Me Not edged her out by a nose. Mike was disappointed. He had the 7 to win. Soooooo close. . . !!! Dan got a hold of a winner in race 3 with Lou's Gem. Seattle Slew's granddaughter (Little Blue Slew) was also in the lineup for that one! And the hot dogs were yum yum yummy! (only 75 cents on Horse Hooky Tuesdays!). Maybe we'll see you there sometime?

What a treat! 2 posts to the blog today! I was getting a book out of the bookcase, and this photo of me fell out. What a trip in the way back machine! Street Sense

What a trip the Breeder's Cup champion gave Calvin Borel! Calvin really took advantage of this colt's gears! Very exciting to see the Red Sea parting in front of this dark bay. I'm looking forward to the Preakness on the 19th!

I have been doing some heavy duty cleaning and decluttering of the house. Why not? I love this old place! The garden has started blooming. I have 4 vases with fresh flowers throughout the house. All the flowers are from the yard!

Still sending out resumes. Remember me to God! My goal is to support myself and the kitties with the job that He has for me. I need WISDOM! As the old saying goes, "From your mouth. . ."

Meanwhile, I plan a little trip to Fairmount Park soon. I'll get a look at some ponies, up close and personal! See you soon, bro!
